Put your spare 3D printer to work
If your printer sits idle between your own projects, let it earn. You set the rates, you pick the jobs, and the marketplace handles listing, payment and disputes.
What you control
- The materials you offer and your price per kilogram
- Your hourly machine rate and a minimum job price
- Your build volume, so you only see parts that fit
- Which requests you accept, and the final price on each one
What it costs
Listing is free and there is no subscription. The marketplace keeps a flat $2.00 from each completed order, and nothing if no order completes.
How a job runs
- A buyer uploads an STL and sends you a request.
- You review the file and send a price.
- The buyer pays for the print and the money is held.
- You print it and upload a photo. The buyer approves and pays shipping.
- You ship it, add tracking, and get paid when it arrives.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get paid?
Buyers pay through Stripe. Your payout goes to your bank through Stripe Connect when the buyer confirms the part arrived, or automatically after the release window if they don't respond.
How much does the marketplace take?
A flat $2.00 per completed order. Shipping, which the buyer pays only after approving the finished print, is passed through to you in full.
Do I have to accept every request?
No. Each request shows you the file first. You decide whether to take it and set the final price, and you can decline anything you don't want to print.
What do I need to list a printer?
A free account, your printer's build volume, the materials you offer with a price per kilogram, your hourly machine rate, and a Stripe payout account.
Who pays for shipping labels?
The buyer pays the shipping price you enter after approving the finished print. You buy the label from your carrier and add the tracking number.
